Ironman Charger Recumbent Exercise Bike

... I was a little leary buying a product from a company who is no longer in business because you just never know how well you'll get taken care of after the fact so I called Amazon Customer Service and they sent an email that explained they would honor the manufacturer's rebate with a refund or replacement since the manufacturer is dis-solved and I took a chance. I'm SO Glad I did. I watched the video demo online for this product and was pretty impressed with orientation during work-outs, the features, & the looks of the machine. When I got it set up it was everything I hoped for, comfortable ride height with lots of adjustment and a very comfortable seat as well, the features were all there, and it's been functioning without any issues. The resistance levels cover a very large range and there are programs pre-loaded or custom options as well.
All I can tell you for sure is that if Ironman went out of business it wasn't because of a bad bike, I really like this and it's working great.
Oh, and it's a great bike for watching tv or Video Games, I don't think you'll have much luck working on a laptop though. ...

Schwinn IC Pro Indoor Cycling Bike

... I have to say that it is unnatural for me to write a review for something that I've bought on-line but for some reason this experience was significant enough that I feel compelled to share it.

Here are the highlights.

1) I wanted to surprise my wife with a Spinning bike as she is an exercise enthusiast and just didn't have the time to get to the gym. We have three kids.

2) I started searching on line, reading reviews, looking at websites, and decided to purchase a Schwinn IC Pro. I found a an offer on AMZ, through Warehouse Deals and paid about $100 dollars off of what others were selling the same bike for. This bike was new, but the box was damaged, hence the price reduction. The notes said it was factory sealed, so I figured GREAT...a new bike and I get to save a bit of $.

In a number of reviews, I read that folks were upset that the bike didn't come with the brake lube and the bolt grease. I didn't sweat it too much initially.

3) I ordered the bike, it shipped quickly, was delivered on time.

4) The day I received the bike, I unpacked it. Since I didn't have the lubes, I used white lithium grease on the bolts. That let me proceed a bit. What I was stuck on, however, was the inability to finish the job b/c I didn't have the break pad spray. HUGE BUMMER.

5) The bigger issue, however, was that the caliper breaks were misaligned (could even say that one was torqued a bit). This had me really concerned. The other problem was that there was a noise coming from the front sprocket - sounded as if the chain wasn't properly aligned. By this time, I was really starting to regret my purchase.

6) I called Schwinn and they could't help. Said that Warehouse Deals wasn't on the approved list and I'd have to go back to them for assistance. Emailed Warehouse Deals and they said they couldn't help but I could return the bike. The one positive thing I did get from Schwinn is that the brake grease they sell was ~ $15 plus shipping. The person I spoke with said I could go to any automotive parts store and pick up a similar product. I did and it cost $3.00. VERY HAPPY about that.

7) Anyway, I sprayed the brakes as instructed, let it sit overnight, tried to fix the alignment myself, but b/c the metal was torqued, I couldn't just adjust the problem away. By now I was getting really really frustrated. I decided to return the bike. That process when fine.

8) Once I decided to return the bike, I started doing some more on-line research and stumbled onto StarTrac. I REALLY like what I was finding. In fact, it sounds as if most of the commercial bikes that you find in gyms are StarTrac. This made me feel real good.

9) The one big turn off from the Schwin was the braking system. I really didn't like the calipers (brake pads push from the side. There were just too many alignment issues). The other big problem was that you really had to make lots of turns on the brake knob to get resistance. This was honestly going to be one of the biggest factors in my next purchase (which I made within a day of deciding to return the Schwin).

10) I had a hard time finding out if the StarTrac had calipers or a brake that pushed down on top of the wheel. I finally found a parts catalog on-line that showed the braking system and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The design is very simple..and I liked that.

11) I called StarTrack, spoke to the sales person. The price for these was a bit more than I wanted to pay but they were running a special. Probably due to the economy. Anyway, they were giving $100 - $200 off new bikes. I settled on the StarTrack Spinning Pro for two reasons. A) this model had waterbottle holders on the handlebars. I've actually really come to like this. It is very convenient. The pedals have one side with straps and the other side with clips. This is great as I would have had to buy these aftermarket. My wife uses the clips and since I don't have bike shoes, I use the straps.

12) I also got 4 free DVDs. Some are good, some are so-so.

13) The bike same, the box was badly damaged...ARGH!..The box was also upside down. I have to say though that the foam packing on this bike was much better than the Schwinn. As a result, the there was no damage to the bike.

14) I set it up in half the time. I since bought some bolt thread grease so I was prepared for that. This is actually better than the white lithium spray. I also didn't have to spay anything on the brake. I set the bike up in half the time was what it took to put the Schwinn together.

14) The box also came with a replacement brake pad and some replacement pedal straps. FEELING REAL GOOD NOW.

15) Anyway...we've used this about 8 times now and love it. I bought some other DVDs and the variety is very nice. I wasn't ready for how hard the first couple work-outs were but I'm getting better.

16) The only complaint thus far is that there is still a slight noise from the chain on the right sprocket. I called StarTrac and they said that it needs to loosen up a bit and will occur after about 10 hours of use. They say the chain has to stretch. If you turn the music up enough you don't really hear it, so it isn't a huge deal but if is doesn't go away over time, I'm going to call them back. Hopefully only a minor adjustment is needed.

Anyway...I've got to get back to work now...hope you find this helpful. I'm really pleased with the StarTrac..and would suggest that you strongly consider it if you are considering the Schwinn. ...

Nautilus NR3000 Recumbent Exercise Bike

... I bought this bike 5 years ago for home use. It has been used for a total of approximately 250 hours. This week the display began to smoke and then the panel crashed. The service tech came out and said we need a new lower control and a new upper control which, with parts and labor will be over $850. The bike is great and works very well and has retained its aesthetic attractiveness, but I would have thought that the technology would last longer than this. ...

Double Kickstand for Heavy Bikes

I installed this center stand on my Surly Cross Check prior to a 8 day trek from San Francisco to LA. It had a snug fit on this bike, just behind the bottom bracket and I had to drill and tap a hole in it's rear side to mount my rear fender to. There is plenty of aluminum in it's mount section so this was no problem to do and worked fine. I also adhered some pieces of cloth bar tape to the chainstays to prevent scratches. The bolt that clamps the two halves of the base to the chainstays has both a combo 15mm & Allen head so both kinds of tools can be used--this way, if you need to do any adjustments or remove it, you can with just an Allen tool. A nice feature.
Initially, the stand was way too tall when extended, so I began cutting it, incrementally with a hack saw. This took time and the measure marks on the two legs didn't necessarily match a centering of the bike. I ended up setting it to have the rear or front wheel set off the ground by about 4"-5". With loaded panniers and close to a 90 lbs total, even on hard dirt, the bike remained upright. Be careful not to cut them too short!!!
When I first mounted it and used it a couple days prior to the trip, it came loose while I was working on the bike. I had not tightened it enough out of fear of compressing the chainstays. So, I realigned it and tightened it more and haven't had a problem since, the chainstays are pretty beefy.
It came in handy time and time again on the trip when we made stops. The bike never fell over and I am amazed how sturdy it is considering the mechanical move it makes when extended, not to mention how scrawny it is.
I had hoped it would allow me to use it as a repair stand when adjusting the derailleurs or oiling the chain, but it did not clear the pedals when extended, so you could never spin the cranks more than about 300 deg.
Also, the rear derailleur cable was slightly displaced by the mount and some compensation adjustment was required. It did not however impair the shifting of gears.
It is a bit heavy at 1 lb 5 oz.
Overall, a very sturdy, well made, useful addition to your touring bike.

Spinner® Fit Spin Bike with 4 Spinning DVDs

... I just wanted to take a minute to share my horrible experience in hopes that I might save a few people from experiencing the same nightmare my wife and I have gone through. We decided we wanted to purchase a spin bike for our home. We did a little research and decided that we felt good about the Spinner Fit bike sold by Spin Fitness company out of California. Man, what a horrible mistake that was. So, the product came fairly quickly and packaged nicely I have to say. I assembled the product per the instruction manual. This part was actually pretty easy and nice. However, my wife (who is a certified spin instructor) hopped on to test it out, and she said that it wasn't working 100% correctly. With every rotation, there was a sort of bump in the pedal stroke. It was as if there was some kind of friction being created with each stroke. And at that point, I was actually fine. These things happen. Probably just needed an adjustment. But I am not an expert on fine tuning a spin bike. So, like any other normal person, I thought I would just call this company and ask for some advice and some help to resolve the problem. This was the start of the nightmare. My wife tried calling first, and this was one early afternoon on a Wednesday. She was told by customer service that she would need to speak to a Fernando in their technical department. She called and left a message with him explaining the situation and that we needed to get some help to try and solve our problem. We got no call back that day. Thursday (the following day) comes around, and it was almost end of day and still no call back. So I called this time, and I left a message on Fernando's voice mail. I wasn't mean, but I was trying to communicate with my tone of voice that we really needed somebody to call us back ASAP and help us with this situation. No call back this day either. Finally, it's Friday early evening (the 3rd day), and Fernando tried calling me back. He left me a voice mail. I just missed him by maybe 15 minutes tops. I immediately tried calling him back, and I got his voice mail. I left him a message saying thank you for the call back... I really appreciated it... and that I would be around for the rest of the evening and to please call me back. He never called me back. The weekend went by, and still no phone call. I called the company's main number first thing Monday morning, and I explained what had been going on, and that I was very upset and didn't appreciate any of this. I got no apology. And I asked if there was somebody else other than this Fernando guy who I could speak with to try and resolve all of this. I was told no and that he was the only one. I said he's done a horrible job of getting back to us, and they said there was nothing else they could do for me. Nice! Finally, Monday (early evening) as I'm driving home from work, I get a call from Fernando. I finally get the chance to try and explain the problem, and he begins to tell me that I will need to go and buy a couple of tools in order to make some adjustments. He "thinks" this will solve the problem. So I have to go spend more money and buy a couple of tools to make an adustment to a product that I've just invested a substantial amount of money in... and I'm already getting horrible customer support. So I go buy the tools, and I begin to try and make the adjustments per his instructions. Well, in order to make the adjustment on the right side of the bike, you have to pop off this small, little black cover so that you can gain access to a certain bolt that you have to adjust. It's kind of hard to explain, but trying to use the specific tool (the allen wrench) to make the adjustment to the bolt on the right hand side was a nightmare. The space you have to work in is very constricted, and it was almost impossible to get the allen wrench I was told to use in there and make the necessary adjustment. I had to start cutting part of the external cover in order to give myself more room to work the allen wrench. Long story short, I tried to make the adjustments Fernando suggested to me, and the bike still isn't working properly. I tried submitting a ticket to customer service on their website explaining the whole story. It states on their site that you should expect to be contacted within 3 business days of submitting a ticket. That was about 3 weeks ago, and I still haven't heard anything. My wife tried calling the main number again, and she was able to get through to the "corporate manager" supposedly. She left a message on her voicemail. And after a couple of weeks, we still have heard nothing. I think we are out of options, and the only other thing we can think of is to try and find somebody on our own who is willing to help us get our spin bike working properly. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I wanted to make sure to include all the details. That way, I feel that I've done my job giving everyone a heads up on the risk you are taking if you choose this company. What a nightmare! I can't believe they're still in business. Hopefully, you will choose a different company to purchase your spin bike from, and your experience will be a positive one. I wish you all well in your search. ...

We use it everyday.....and yes, as some others have indicated.....it does require some periodic "re-tightening" and checking of it's fittings. Assembly was not bad......but when the item arrived, the blister pack containing all the nuts, bolts, washers, etc had broken and all of these parts we loose in the box and it took a long time to gather them up and get them re-organized. Seat came loose one time, but re-tighting it seems to have corrected the problem. For us, and our particular needs......we are pleased with the bike and feel the price paid was reasonable. ...

Schwinn IC Evolution Indoor Cycling Bike

... I bought this bike from amazon about a year ago and it has held up really good. But after a year of use I found that there a few things this bike is lacking. 1) The seat is way too hard. It took me (actually my butt) almost a month to get used to the seat. 2) The handle bars. They are positioned so that the only way to use them is if you lean all the way forward with your head down like you were cutting into the wind. Theres no halfway where you can lean forward a little and just use them for a little support. If they fixed these 2 minor issues this bike would be perfect. It rides real smooth and made pretty tough. The price tag is pretty high on this and would not recommend for the casual user. If your really into spinning/biking or just filthy rich this bike is made for you otherwise look for an exercise that has a weighted fly wheel for a cheap version of this. ...

LifeSpan Fitness R3 Recumbent Bike

I shopped around for around 2 months before deciding on the Lifespan R3. I'm very glad I selected this recumbent exercise bike. It was pretty easy to assemble, easy to understand the control panel, and rock solid during use.

One thing I did was to mount a smaller LCD television over the display. Be careful to attach it securely if you do the same thing, although the bike does not really wobble much during use, and it is VERY quiet. I attached it so that I can still reach the control panel buttons by reaching behind the little LCD TV. I typically set the recumbent to automatically vary the resistance regularly to keep the ride more challenging and interesting.

Best of all, two of my kids have really taken to it. Overall my suggestion to you is to BUY THIS RECUMBENT EXERCISE BIKE!

Genuine Magnetrainer-ER Mini Exercise Bike

... The Magnetrainer machine appears well built, has a good range of resistance, & pedals smoothly. But, the space to put your feet into the pedal stirrup must have been designed for children or midgets--way too small for my very normal-sized shoes. So, I spent another $20 for the accessory velcro-closure pedals & replaced (threw away) the original pedals. The new ones are still very small; the velcro closure barely meets on top of my shoes. Now we're trying to improvise some way of holding my feet onto the pedals; I'm using the machine from my wheelchair & don't have full control over my feet, so it's pretty challenging. I don't understand why the manufacturer skimped on this--what could another two inches of velcro strap length on each pedal have cost? And, why aren't the velcro pedals standard? ...

... THIS BIKE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE FITNESS QUEST EDGE 440 RECUMBENT BIKE. THIS IS A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW BY THE MAKERS OF THE EDGE 440, A FLAW THEY WILL NOT AGREE TO FIX OR CORRECT, A FLAW THEY WILL NOT ADMIT AND A FLAW THAT THEY REFUSE TO RECALL BECAUSE THEY ARE EMBARRASSED.

Lifecore LC-900 Recumbent Exercise Bike

... I have owned the Lifecore Fitness 900rb now for 8 weeks and have used it nearly every day for heart pumping 25-40 minute workouts. My overall conclusion is that this recumbent bike is a very fine machine, however, a few things could be improved.

Pros: Looks great, extremely well built, near silent operation, compact design with small footprint that still provides a solid foundation, easy to mount and dismount, unobstructed sightlines to television, large pedals that fit snugly but not tight, extremely smooth pedaling motion, sufficient variable resistance to match any fitness level, plenty of built in programs, very comfortable mesh seat back, bright/colorful/easy to use & read monitor, great warranty (extremely important).

Cons: The lack of front handle bars limits body positioning while exercising. The bike's seat bottom is is a bit small in length and too soft. My monitor is skewed a few degrees to the right and can not be adjusted. The four C batteries last only about a month before needing replacement and are a bit difficult to swap out. Therefore, I concur with Lifecore Fitness' recommendation that users operate the machine with the monitor/magnetic resistance sytem plugged into an electrical outlet.

This is my 3rd recumbent bike and, by far, the best one I've owned over a 25 year period. If it doesn't wear out (gears, crank, belt, etc.)like the first two (products of other companies), this will by my last recumbent bike purchase. For $1,000 the Lifecore 900rb is an excellent cardio health investment. If Lifecore Fitness ever adds functional handle bars and improve the seat bottom, this fun-to-ride exercise bike will be near perfect and warrant a 5 star rating. Given its present design, I give this bike 4+ stars. G. Miller -- Phx., AZ ...

MagneTrainer Adjustable Velcro Pedals

These are better than the standard pedal on the Magnetrainer, but still not large enough for normal shoes. Each strap should be at least one inch longer, preferably two inches. If you're going to use the Magnetrainer on a table as an arm exerciser, no problem. For your feet, you'd better have slippers; standard athletic shoes will barely fit in them.

Lifecore LC-800RB Recumbent Exercise Bike

About me:
Former athlete who's busy and hates to work out. I like to snowboard and wakeboard and needed something to improve leg strength.
Also, I'm closing in on 50 and in need of an efficient method for improving cardio.
Very reluctant to plunk down major cash for a clothes hanger.
Can't stand treadmills and I don't like riding a bicycle.
Suffer from light ankle and knee issues that compelled me to find a low-impact solution.
I'm 6'4" 225 lbs now...I was 6'4" 190 lbs in college.

+'s
Solid construction and easy to put together - just a half dozen things that need to be installed - good directions and decent quality parts.

Intuitive interface and easy to understand programs. Cardio analysis seems decent - good enough but not as good as the mayo clinic. Resistance levels seem to be adequate - the first level was actually a bit stiffer than I would have guessed the first time I sat down...it's crazy easy now after two weeks of riding.

I can multi-task while working out! I can read, play guitar, listen to music - a bit of a revelation for me. Can't do that on a track or a treadmill.

Prior to shopping for a bike I had never uttered the word recumbent. My first instinct was to buy an upright - seemed normal to me. After some research tho I eventually leaned toward the recumbent and this one in particular - it's actually at about a 30 degree angle - not horizontal - so it's easy on the back and puts you in a position to multi-task!

Very quiet and small footprint.

Amazon delivery efficient and timely as usual.

-'s
haven't come across one yet but if you're taller than 6'4" you'll need to build a back seat - I'm all the way back and it's just right.

First Fitness Kid's First Exercise Bike

We bought this for our 2 year old grandson. It turned out to be everything that we hoped it would be. It is sturdy, stable and was easy to assemble. With him just turning 2, we were afraid he wouldn't be able to reach the pedals, but he was able to reach them fine with shoes on. There is a lot of room for growth on it so it should last him a couple of years. He likes the timer stopwatch that is included with it. He has been riding it daily since and it is holding up well. We were very pleased with the quick and free delivery through Amazon.

Stamina Conversion II Recumbent Bike / Rower

This unit is quiet and well made. Love how easy it is to convert to either exercise. My only complaint would be the angle of chair for biking, would like it more straight but otherwise love the machine.

Diamondback Fitness 500Sr Step-Thru Recumbent Exercise Bike

... I bought the recumbent bike because my wife has serious back problems. She loves the bike and uses it almost everyday. The upright bike hurt her back so bad, the pain lasted many times all day and night. The recumbent helps her back and eases pain. The quality of the Diamondback is equal to many brands that sell for two to four times the price. The back and seat pads are as good and comfortable as those used in gyms and easy adjustments a fit for anyone. I highly recommend the Diamondback 500Sr. ...

Spirit XR425 Recumbent Exercise Bike Trainer

Spirit XR425 Recumbent Exercise Bike Trainer This is easy to assemble if you have two handyman; one to read the instructions, and one to assemble. The displays are confusing, and I couldn't get the heart monitor to work; gave up after 20 minutes, I have used it for only about 6 minutes. I haven't exercised for several months, so after the short time at level 5 (low) I was breathing hard.

Phoenix 98623 Revolution Cycle Pro II Exercise Bike

I am very pleased with this spinning bike. I have been spinning at my local YMCA for 4 years and decided a bike for home would be great because my schedule was conflicting with class times at the gym on occasion. This bike is sturdy, smooth and comfortable. The assembly took about 30 minutes. This is a great bike for the money. My only complaint is that the tension knob is too close to the frame. It's not a problem just not quite as easy as the ones I am used to. All in all, a great purchase.

Stamina Elite Total Body Recumbent Bike

I was concerned before I bought this that the arm cycle would not offer resistance. One other reviewer had mentioned that. You do get adjustable resistance but only when using it alone and not pedaling the bike at the same time. I wish the arm cycle offered more resistance than it does but after several minutes of use you can feel it working and you can raise your heart rate quite easily. This unit would be great for someone with bad knees who has trouble using a treadmill. This is the only decent arm cycle I found and with my knee problems I use that feature much more than the bicycle. The recumbent seat is very comfortable and easy to adjust front and back. I am 6'3" and have no problems with the seat adjustment. There are the side handles you can hold onto while using the bike. There is no cup holder as some have mentioned. Easy assembly and the funky tools they give you do work but if you had a 13mm & 15mm socket and ratchet it speeds up assembly time considerably. Look for a deal that offers free shipping because without that, it is $70.00 to ship, ouch!

Comfortable, quiet, smooth pedalling. I tried four other bikes, same style, at sporting good stores and this one was just as comfortable and quiet as the ones that are double or more than double the price. I would highly recommend.

Fitness Master X Series Momentum Indoor Cycling Bike

Very satisfied with my purchase! Bike arrived one day early and only took 30 minutes tops for my husband to assemble. This bike is true quality, and comparable to the LeMond I am used to riding at the club. It is sturdy, silent, and all it should be for the avid spinner. I admit it is weird coming up with my own routine with my own music, but I think I will get better as I use it more and compile a proper playlist to listen to! Now my mom wants one and I am so excited that my jeans are getting back to clinging in the right spots instead of pulling in the wrong ones! Overall an excellent price, free shipping was awesome with Prime membership, and who would of thought the darn thing would actually show up on time? Love it! Thanks Fitness master and Amazon.

Diamondback Fitness 900Sr Step-Thru Recumbent Exercise Bike

... The Diamondback 900sr, overall, lived up to expectations and even exceeded some. The bike was easy to assemble. It took me about 2 hours to put together. The base portion was already assembled, all I had to do was install the seat, the pedals, and the console unit. Just be careful not to pinch the wiring and you'll be just fine. The bike is super quiet. This is where the bike exceeded my expectations. I wasn't expecting it to be so quiet. The pre-programmed exercises are great. There are enough variations to keep my interest. The one thing I do not like (and the main reason I give the bike 4 stars and not 5) are the fans. They do not push enough air to cool. On high, the fans are extremely loud and still do not push enough air. Why install a feature on a bike if its not going to work properly. Also, the speakers are low quality. I plug my iPod into the console and listen to music while I workout. The speakers do the job, but are very weak and sound like they play in mono and not stereo. I still ended up buying a separate iPod speaker kit. The bike is heavy, approximately 150 pounds. I only mention this because if you need to move it up/down stairs, you will need help. The delivery guy who delivered it to my house was alone and he wouldn't help me move it into the house until I offered him a nominal tip.

All-in-all I bought the bike to workout, not to listen to music or be cooled by the fans. That said, if your looking a good quality piece of equipment for the home, I highly recommend this product, just don't expect much from the extraneous features. Its quiet, its comfortable, and it provides a good workout. It's not gym quality, but it comes very close and since its for home use, I feel I definetly got my money's worth. ...

Stamina 9200 CPS Indoor Cycling Bike

Diamondback Fitness 500Ub Upright Exercise Bike

My main considerations when researching the potential choices for an upright exercise bike were size, quality, quiet operation, program features, durability, ease of assembly, and shipping. As it turns out, shipping was the deciding factor for me. There are a number of bikes that boast similar specs and features, but even the best customer reviews often cite poor packaging, resulting in damaged parts upon receipt. I was pleased to learn that Amazon used a private transport company for the delivery of the Diamondback 500UB, which arrived well-packaged, and perfectly intact.

I ordered the Diamondback 500UB on a Thursday afternoon, got the email notice that the bike had shipped on Friday morning, and on Monday the shipper called to arrange a time for delivery. This wasn't the Super Saver option, so I did end up paying about $55 bucks for the delivery, but in my opinion it was worth it.

The bike took about a hour to unpack and assemble. Not a difficult assembly by any means, however, the manual is marred by typos and uneven grammar. In spots it appears that it was written in another language and subsequently translated into English. But, in truth, you could probably figure out how to put this bike together without the manual, since the included screws and bolts only fit into the appropriate matching parts.

I find the seat quite comfortable, the pedaling smooth and even, the flywheel whisper silent, the frame sturdy and strong, and the computerized console packed with various workout options, as indicated in the product description above. One other thing! This bike is a heavy sucker (85 pounds according to Diamondback), so you would be well advised to consider a protective floor mat to go with it. The good thing is that the front stabilizer foot has wheels, so that you can tilt-roll this baby from one room to another, if you choose.

Overall, I would recommend this upright bike to anyone who plans to ride regularly and wants a good workout with lots of valuable data coming from the console. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Stamina 4825 Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike

... The shipping box looked pretty bad upon arrival, but the contents were in perfect shape due to excellent interior protection. Screws I thought might be missing were already in place in the seat and seat back. Put it together in less than 1 hour working alone with my own tools. Tools provided are like survival kit. Would work but would take much longer. Perfect fit & finish on all parts. Very high quality for this price. Very sturdy and stable ride as evidenced by 300 Lb. rating. Large easy to read computer display. Easy to move wheels. Easy seat adjust and tension knob. ...

Schwinn 101 Upright Exercise Bike

Yes, the packaging looked as though it had been used for target practice, but the frame is so solid that it survived undamaged. The packaging for the small parts and tools is very nice; they are mounted on a cardboard, sealed with a sheet of plastic, and sorted by the step requiring the parts and clearly labeled with the part number and name. It was a really easy installation, in large part thanks to this, e.g., no need to figure out which bolts where which length. The bike is really quiet and comfortable. The reading rack is okay for magazines, not so good for books, and inadequate for laptop computers, but it does not claim to accommodate the last.

Schwinn Airdyne Evo Comp Exercise Bike

... I highly recommend this product to anyone including those who may have a hard time using exercise equipment due to physical restrictions. The bike seems to adjust to your particular workout requirement by increasing the resistance (fan) as you push your workout level. Schwinn Adjustable Kickstand

I bought this to install on my son's bike after removing the one that wore out. The bike was free, and needed a few things to bring it up to the operating level I wanted to provide for him. I got a few brake cables, a set of pedals, and this. It was super easy to install and setup because of the adjustable length. Even has a little rubber cap on the bottom that will help it stay in one place better (think slippery surfaces and metal vs. rubber). Just make sure you have enough knowledge on how to install, and know the intended bike frame has the appropriate space to place it.
